Touya is Sakura's older brother. He lives with his sister and his father. His mother died a few years after Sakura was born. He is very possesive of his little sister. He often picks on her and calls her "monster". He used to scare her by telling her that there were ghosts around. He is an 11th grade student at Seijyu High School. He has several part time jobs. He plays on the soccer team.
He tries to protect Sakura as best he can and takes care of her when she's sick. He dislikes Shaoran because he knows Shaoran will take Sakura away from him. He can tell that Kero-chan is not a normal doll and often gives Kero-chan odd looks. He knows that something important is happening that keeps Sakura busy a lot, but doesn't mention anything to her. He does his best to make sure she's safe. After he gives his power to Yue, he orders Yue to take care of Sakura for him.
His best friend is Tsukishiro Yukito, who he's known since the beginning of High School. They are in the same class in high school and later go to the same university. They usually ride the bikes to school together. Yukito often comes over after school to study or if there's something good to eat. He occasionally stays overnight. Touya knows that Yukito is also Yue, and trys to tell Yukito. Touya often gets bothered by Ruby Moon in Ruby Moon's disquised form. He tells Yukito that he doesn't care that he's not human as long as he doesn't disappear.
