Kero-chan is the guardian of the Clow Cards. He looks like a stuffed animal in his weaker form, but his true form is a large lion with wings. The fire and earth cards are needed for him to use his true form. He speaks in an Osaka dialect. Kero-chan helps Sakura learn about the Clow Cards and her majic powers. He really dislikes Li Syaoran and Li Meilin because they are trying to get the cards and are competition for Sakura. He had been sleeping for 30 years before Sakura awoke him.
He was created by Clow Reed. In his larger form he has strong magical powers. He is the Appointer, in charge of naming the new master of the Clow Card. He works with Yue, the Judge, to guard and guide Sakura.
Kero-chan loves sweets and videogames. He often gets jealous when he thinks people are getting sweets without him. This often causes him to follow Sakura around. His rival is Spinel Sun, who he calls Suppi. He is incredibly competitive.
