Episode 55: Sakura and Sakura in Wonderland
Sakura is reading "Alice in Wonderland". Eriol gives her a leaf to hold her place with. Eriol says that he's read the book before. Sakura comments on how Alice must have been scared. She asks him what England is like. He offers to show her Alice's world. Shaoran gets jealous. Tomoyo interprets it to mean that Eriol will take Sakura to England. The class' reading week is almost over. Tomoyo choose to read a japanese literature collection. Naoko has piles of books. Terada comments on how he likes Rika's book. The girls go to the library to finish reading after school. Tomoyo comments to Rika about Terada's compliment. The girls meet up with Eriol and are passed by Shaoran. Yamigaki is reading a book about aliens. Naoko asks him about it. Shaoran needs a dictionary to read his book. Eriol can read japanese fine because of something that happened a long time ago. Sakura gets sucked into her book. Sakura becomes Alice. Eriol appears as the Cheshire Cat. He reveals that he's been threatening her and Li, but wasn't honest because there are people around her that would recognize him. Yukito is the White Rabbit. She follows him. He changes into Yue and flies off with her. He drops her. Shaoran tries to get Sakura out of the book while still keeping her disappearance secret. Touya is the Madd Hatter. The tea he gives her turns her small. Li is Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. He asks two questions of her. Sakura guesses wrong when he asks if the person he likes is taller or shorter than him. She'd answered that he liked someone taller, thinking he likes Yukito. Sakura changes Big and uses it to get away. She sees the leaf she used as a bookmark in the sky. She uses Little and sees Tomoyo (Humpty Dumpty) and Kero-chan (the Queen) playing chess. She uses Fly to escape through the leaf.
