Episode 48: Sakura and the Awakened Star Key
The rain continues to fall nostop in only Tomoeda. Sakura is worried because she can't release the key. Touya notices that she's worried. She asks if Yukito is coming over. He says that Yukito would probably come if she made something to eat. She says she will. Kero-chan looks at the Sakura book and worries about the aura. At school everyone is talking about the rain. Eriol gives Sakura a flower to cheer her up. Shaoran gets agressive and jealous. Sakura doesn't notice. She tells Shaoran about the key durning a break. Shaoran suggests it might be the work of someone more powerful. Yukito and Touya are carrying some papers when Touya sees Shaoran and Sakura talking. Touya is about to tell Yukito something when Akizuki shows up. Touya makes Yukito give him his stack. He asks Akizuki to get off so he can go. Akizuki tells Yukito that since he really doesn't know, it's hers. Sakura is walking home and runs into Eriol. Eriol invites her to come to his house sometime. She gets home and has dinner with Yukito and Touya. Touya leaves for his partime. Touya mentions that the rain isn't normal when Yukito sees him to the door. Yue and Kero-chan go up to Sakura's room. Sakura offers Yue some tea, but Yue doesn't take any. When she goes off to get more tea they discuss the rain. Cereberus says that the aura belongs to someone they both knew well. Sakura is surprised to see Cereberus. They go out to the park. She asks Yue if Yukito knows about him. He confirms that Yukito doesn't know. The rain attacks them. Yue protects Sakura, but gets knocked into a tree. Sakura tries again to release the key. Cereberus's fire gets turned against him. Sakura gets caught in a pillar of water. Tomoyo, Cereberus, and Yue get caught as well. She gets determined to win and begins to glow. A new magical formation forms behind her. She uses a new incantation to release the key, breaking free. The new key won't work on the Clow Cards, so she changes them. She changes Firey into a Sakura card. She uses Firey to free the others and get rid of the rain. She faints and Yue catches her, saying she's asleep. Yue looks at the moon. Three mysterious forms are nearby.
