Episode 43: Sakura's Farewell to Meilin
Meilin is making cake while Shaoran practices with his sword. She burns the cake and causes Shaoran to cut his finger. They get a call from Meilin's mother. She says that Meilin has to come home. At school Sakura shows Tomoyo the pictures from the Literary Fest. Meilin arrives and is obviously depressed. She tells them that she has to go home. When they're about to leave school, Sakura invites Meilin over to her house. Meilin agrees and Shaoran asks Sakura why. She says she has lots of things to talk to her about. Later, Touya comes home and Yukito is invited to stay for supper. Kero-chan is over at Tomoyo's house. Sakura is talking to Meilin in her room and brings up Shaoran. Meilin gets depressed again. A card is going around making things double. That night Meilin asks Sakura how long she's liked Yukito. Meilin tells Sakura about growing up with Shaoran. She tells her about when her pet bird flew away and Shaoran brought it back. Sakura senses the Twin card. She asks Meilin to come too. Shaoran's house has been doubled. Sakura tries to use Windy to catch the card, but both of the twins have to be cause at the same time. Sakura uses Thunder while Shaoran uses magic, but it isn't enough. Sakura ask Meilin and Shaoran to attack similtaneously. They defeat Twin so Sakura can seal it. Meilin is about to leave and Sakura-tachi are there to see her off. She reminds Shaoran of the promise she made him make- that she'd be his fiance until he finds someone he likes more.
