Episode 42: Sakura's Pitch Dark Literary Fest
It's the day of the Literary Fest and Sakura and Shaoran are waiting for Tomoyo to bring their costumes. She arrives and drags them off to change. Touya and Yukito are in the audience. Fujitaka couldn't make it so Touya is going to take pictures. Yukito reminds Touya of when their class did Cinderella. Everyone admires the costumes that Tomoyo made. Mizuki-sensei comments on how Sakura's costume lets her move freely, so she'll be okay if anything happens. Tomoyo blackmails Shaoran into wearing his costume. Kero-chan is with Tomoyo in the announcer's booth. The play goes well. Meilin is the evil witch. Rika, Naoko and Chiharu are the fairies and Yamazuki-kun is the queen. When Sakura is about to kiss Shaoran the stage goes dark. Sakura can't find anyone in the pitch dark. She can't release her key. She recognizes it as the work of the Dark card. When she's about to be covered in darkness she says that it'll be okay. A card comes out of her, the Light card. The Dark card appears and Sakura seals both cards at the same time. Dark mentions Yue and the Last Judgement. Sakura sees the stage again and hugs Shaoran. Kero-chan senses the power of the moon.
