Episode 41: Sakura, Shaoran and the Sea of Sand
Sakura's class is going to do a play for the school's Literary Fest. They use a chance method to determine the roles for the play, Sleeping Beauty. Meilin envisions being the princess while Shaoran is the Prince. Sakura is cast as the Prince and Shaoran as the Princess. Late Kero-chan mentions his suspicions about Mizuki-sensei. He uses that as an excuse to go to the play. The next day, Sakura and Shaoran are practicing their parts by themselves, Li in a tree and Sakura walking around. Yukito comes and the three of them have lunch together. He asks about the play, but they avoid answering. Later Sakura asks Shaoran to practice with her. They agree to meet to practice before school. Sakura sets lots of alarms to wake her up. Touya is making breakfast when she comes downstairs, despite not needing to be up yet. He brings up the time she was sick (and had Mirror cover for her while she was out) and tells her not to do crazy things anymore. Sakura stops at the temple for a second before meeting Shaoran at school. She is followed by Sand. They are practising outside and are about to kiss when the Sand card attacks. Sakura uses Fly to avoid the card's attacks, but Shaoran is caught in it. He tells her to use Watery. She does and he freezes the Sand with the Freeze card. Sakura is then able to seal the card. They both get the card, but Sakura gives it to Shaoran.
