Episode 40: Sakura and the Sakura in the Dream
Sakura, Tomoyo, Li, Meilin and Kero-chan are shopping downtown, but are followed by a glowing butterfly. They take a picture in a booth. Kero-chan spots a game and asks Sakura to play it for him. Tomoyo has been taping the entire time. The game is a mole bashing game. Meilin joins in when Sakura has a hard time at it. The butterfly flies in front of Tomoyo and she has a vision of Sakura in many costumes circling her and calling her name. She wakes up when Meilin hits her on the head. The four of them go to watch a romantic movie. Shaoran goes to buy something to drik and the butterfly flies by. He opens the door and has a vision of entering an empty theater in which the screen shows him giving Sakura the cards and then her hugging him. He gets hit by the door and wakes. Meilin suggests they go to Tokyo Tower. Sakura tells Shaoran of her dream, the one she had when he and Mizuki-sensei arrived. The butterfly follows them. Sakura opens the door to the Tower and has a dream. In it they go to the observatory. In the elevator Li says that she needs to clear her mind. She sees the building from her dream. No one else is there. They go to buy drinks and Touya and Yukito are working there, though they should be at a soccer game. Kero-chan says hi to Yukito and Touya tells Kero-chan and Yukito not to get Sakura into too much trouble. She finds out its a dream and wakes alone in a room. She sees herself and Mizuki-sensei clearly. The Sakura in her dream tells her it'll be okay for sure. She sees some flashbacks of other cards. She wakes to where Li has been using the Time card to keep the butterfly from getting away. Sakura seals the Dream card and it goes to Li, who faints. Kero-chan says that everything shown in the dream is prophetic.
