Episode 39: Sakura's Dizzy Fever Day
Sakura is sleeping and feels a cool hand on her forehead. She wakes up and feels a little dizzy. She has a fever. She has to go to school to help finish a group poster. She falls and Kero-chan catches her. Sakura asks Touya not to tell her father that she is sick so that he won't worry and cancel his trip. After their father leaves Touya suggests that Sakura stay home from school, but she insists on going so as not to make anyone worry. On the way to school Yukito asks if she's not feeling well. Tomoyo, Meilin and Shaoran notice that she is sick when she gets to school. Mizuki-sensei asks Tomoyo to take Sakura to the nurse. The nurse tells Sakura to skip the rest of the day. Tomoyo, Meilin and Shaoran reassure Sakura that they'll finish the poster so that she can go home.
Mizuki calls Touya with her mind and tells him to take Sakura home. He asks why she came back. Mizuki answers that she has some things to do here. At the elementary school Sakura is talking to Tomoyo and starts to fall. Touya catches her. He carries her home on his back. Later Yukito brings over Touya's school bag. He says that he was surprised when Touya jumped out of the classroom. Yukito guesses that he heard Mizuki's voice in his mind and asks if that always happens. Touya says that today was special. Yukito comments that it must have been because it involved Sakura. In Sakura's room Touya gives Kero-chan odd looks while Kero-chan sweats.
While Touya is getting Sakura some food, Sakura senses a Clow Card. Kero says that the rain must be the work of the Clow Card Cloud. Sakura uses the Mirror Card to make a copy of herself so Touya won't notice that she's gone. She flies toward the source of Cloud. Touya comes back and gives some soup to Mirror. Cloud attacks Sakura and she falls off of her rod. Shaoran catches her with his wind magic. He scolds her for coming to catch a card while she's sick. At Sakura's house Touya notices that Mirror isn't really Sakura and asks the copy not to tell Sakura that he knows. Shaoran's fire reveals the real Cloud. Meilin helps Sakura seal the card by moving Sakura's arms for her. The card goes to Shaoran, but he gives it to Sakura. When Sakura returns home Mirror catches her and helps her into bed. Mirror says that she had fun and returns to being a card. Kero-chan tells Meilin and Shaoran that Sakura got home okay and tells them that he is going to stay at their house for the night so that Touya won't notice him. Sakura's fever has gone up. Touya is about to call a doctor when his mother appears and places her hand on Sakura's forehead. Nadeshiko says that Sakura will be okay. She leaves right before Fujitaka arrives. He says that he was worried about Sakura because she didn't seem to be acting normally. Touya tells him that Nadeshiko had come. In the morning Fujitaka tells Sakura that he came home for something he had forgotten.
