Episode 36: Sakura and a Snowy New School Term
Sakura has a dream of the Clow Cards. She sees the cards vanishing and a familiar woman on the Tokyo Tower, Mizuki-sensei. Her alarm clock wakes her up. Kero-chan scolds her for sleeping in. Sakura's first day of fifth grade is today. Touya is a senior. Sakura says that none of their classes change. She asks Touya about his class. He says that he and Yuki are still in the same class. Sakura gets left behind and has to catch up with Touya in order to go to school with Yukito. Yukito's bike had a flat tire and Touya is on duty, so Touya goes on ahead. Yukito gives Sakura a present for her birthday and for becoming a fifth grader. Tomoyo asks about the present when Sakura arrives at school. Shaoran and Meilin overslept and are almost late for school. The class's teacher this year is Mizuki Kaho. She suggest a game of dodgeball during the free period. She tells Sakura that something really pretty will accumulate a lot. At home Sakura opens her present and finds a watch. Kero-chan arrives with some food while Sakura is looking at the watch. Sakura is getting ready for dinner when Touya arrives home covered in snow. There's almost a meter of snow outside. Sakura talks to Tomoyo and figures out that the snow must be the work of a Clow Card. Sakura-tachi investigate and meet up with Shaoran and Meilin. Shaoran says that it is the work of Snow and suggest that Sakura use Float to stay above the snow level. The group is attacked by Snow. Shaoran and Sakura fly away from Meilin and Tomoyo to lure Snow away from them. Li uses his Fire magic but it doesn't work against Snow. Sakura loses her watch and gets angry. She uses the Firey card to catch Snow and get rid of all that has accumulated. She begins to cry and Shaoran offers to try and find her watch for her. Kaho arrives with the watch.
