Episode 29: Sakura's Sweet Cooking
Sakura and her fathera are making a cake when they hear something fall upstairs. Kero-chan had knocked over some manga. Sakura and her father finish making the cake and decorating it. Her father suggests she give some to her firends and tell Touya so he can give some to Yukito. Shaoran, Yamigaki and Meilin discuss cakes at school. Chiharu, Naoko and Rika decide on shortcake. Meilin talks to Sakura about her cake. On the way home Sakura and Tomoyo see Shaoran looking in a window at a cake shop. They see Yukito come out of the shop with a cake he'd bought. Sakura and Shaoran both offer to give him a piece of the cake that they'll make. At home, Meilin is practising making a cake, but rushes and burns it. In class the next day everyone works hard on their cakes, but when they come back from break the cakes are all too sweet. Meilin is depressed about messing up the cake but Shaoran tells her it's not her fault. Sakura and Tomoyo are at the cake shop and run into Shaoran. Mizuki-sensei comes by and says she was going to buy something sweet. The other class's cakes also turned out too sweet. The next day they are very careful about mesuring. Mizuki-sensei is outside the door, but leaves when noticed. Kero-chan guesses that it may be Sweet. Sakura and Shaoran stay behind after everyone has left. Kero-chan calls and tells Sakura about Sweet. They see it, but it turns many things sweet. Shaoran wants to catch Sweet in an oven, but Sakura prevents him from ruining the cake he worked hard on. She sprinkles salt on it and catches it. Everything goes back to normal and the cakes come out fine, except Meilin's, which is too salty from too much mixing. Rika gives a piece of her cake to Terada-sensei. Sakura gives some to Touya and Yukito. Shaoran watches them from the other side of the fence.
