Episode 28: Sakura and the Wishing Card
Sakura's class is cooking Koroke (fried potatoes). Chiharu tells Sakura about the wishing cards. Sakura is having trouble getting her koroke into the oil. Meilin stops a fire from Sakura's oil and then asks Sakura where to buy the wishing cards. Meilin goes to Maki-san's shop, but doesn't have the courage to enter. At home Sakura's father is helping her to cook, but she is still afraid of the oil. Touya comes home and has some of the koroke that Sakura's father made. The next day Tomoyo asks if Sakura has practiced. They're doing the jumping box in gym, which Sakura is good at. Naoko is worried, but manages to jump the box. She says that it's because of a wishing card called Jump. The card looks like a Clow Card, but is different in color and design. Sakura and Tomoyo go to look at the cards, and see Meilin coming out. Sakura is looking for a card for cooking. Meilin insists that there're no problems between her and Shaoran, but she bought a love card. Shaoran sees it and she runs off with him. Sakura tells Kero-chan about the cards. Sakura and Tomoyo eat lunch together and are joined by Touya and Yukito. Sakura introduces them to Meilin. Sakura and Tomoyo go to Maki-san's shop again. Sakura senses that a Clow Card was on the rack. It was Shot and was sold to someone in Sakura's class. They look for the card by using Fly to search. Neither Chiharu nor Naoko have it. Chiharu says Meilin has it. Sakura and Shaoran search for her on Fly while Tomoyo goes to check her house. They find her at school. Meilin triggers the card and it attacks. Sakura uses Mirror to get Shot to hit itself. Tomoyo arrives in time to tape the end. Sakura succeeds in making koroke. The next day Meilin gives her a cooking wishing card.
