Episode 19: Sakura and the Summer Vacation Homework
Sakura is writting the picture diary from last month. She's doing all her summer homework at the last minute. She has to look up the weather in old newspapers yet. The old newspapers are gone, but her father has the weather from during his research. Kero-chan offers to do her math homework in exchange for a treat. Sakura is working on her handicraft homework when Yukito and Touya arrive. She's trying to make a birdhouse, but she forgot to put a door in it. Touya offers to do it for her in exchange for making dinner five nights. Sakura calls Tomoyo and they agree to go to the library together. Yukito helps Touya with the birdhouse. Tomoyo meets her at the park. They meet Shaoran as they look for a study room in the library. Shaoran goes off by himself. Kero-chan does the first half of Sakura's math homework, but when she compares with Tomoyo she finds that he did them wrong. Sakura looks for a book to do her book report on. She asks to see the book Tomoyo read, but it's very thick. Sakura looks for a shorter book, but can't find it in the library. They look for the book, which hasn't been checked out. Kero-chan talks to Shaoran, who uses a dictionary to help him read his book. He sets the book down, but it's gone when he goes to pick it back up. Kero-chan tells Sakura that Shaoran had the book she was looking for. Tomoyo sees it, but it disappears again. A Clow card is moving the book. They try to catch it, but it keeps moving. They chase it all over the library and then follow it as it moves out of and away from the library. Kero says it must be the Move card. Tomoyo says she should have brought her camera. Kero-chan says to feel where the card will be. She catches the card but falls into the river, even though Li tries to catch her. Shaoran offers to let her change at his place and then borrow the book. Sakura and Tomoyo meet Wei, who came to Japan with Shaoran on his mother's orders. He tells them that Shaoran's father died a long time ago. Sakura borrows a t-shirt from Shaoran. A girl arrives, who Shaoran addresses as Meilin. She gets offended the Sakura is wearing the shirt that she gave Shaoran.
