Episode 17: Sakura's Scary Courage Test
Kero-chan complains about not getting to go to the beach with Sakura. Touya and Yukito are studying together in Touya's room when Yukito hears noise from Sakura's room, even though she's at the beach for summerschool. At the beach, Sakura and Li are swimming when Sakura gets called by Chiharu, Tomoyo, Naoko and Rika to play volleyball with them. Yamazaki appears with a tale about beach volleyball and how it was invented. Terada-sensei calls them to pull in the fishing net. They cook the fish and perpare vegetables to go with it. At night they discuss the courage test that will happen the next night. Naoko tells a ghost story about it. Terada comes in and tells them to go to sleep, but Sakura can't sleep. She goes outside and is startled when Li comes up behind her. They sit on the beach together and talk. Li says he felt an aura from the cave. Sakura gets scared, thinking it's a ghost. Sakura asks who came to Japan with Shaoran. The next day Sakura sees something a the cave, but dismisses it. That night they go in pairs into the cave. Sakura is scared, but Tomoyo isn't. Tomoyo and Sakura enter the cave and get scared by Terada dressed as a ghost. They reach the bridge and Tomoyo mentions that something must be wrong, because they haven't seen anyone else. They hear Chiharu and Rika yell. They run ahead and find the two paniced girls, who tell them that Naoko disappeared. Then Rika and Chiharu disappear too. Tomoyo suggests they go back and then she two disappears. Sakura finds Shaoran, who says Yamazaki also disappeared. The candle that Tomoyo was carrying burns the bridge down. Sakura sense the presense of a Clow card. It's coming from a shrine at the back of the cave. She uses Float to get them across the river. On the other side Shaoran starts to disappear. Sakura finds the card, Erase, and seals it. She offers Li the card, but he doesn't take it. Nobody remembers the courage test except for Sakura and Shaoran because Erase erased their memories.
