Episode 12: Sakura's Endless Day
Sakura's father is giving a lecture about Archeology to Sakura's class. Shaoran and Yamazaki talk to him after the lecture. Li is very interested in archeology. He gets mad when he finds out that Fujitaka is Sakura's father, though. During break, Fujitaka asks Sakura how his lecture was. At home Kero-chan has almost finished the game he is playing. Sakura brings Touya and Yukito a late night snack while they're studying for a test. The bells on the clock tower ring at midnight, even though they're not supposed to. In the morning Kero finds that his saved game is no longer there. Sakura has a test on the flute in music class. Sakura and Tomoyo are sitting near the soccer field talking when they see Li approaching while practicing his flute, even though the test is over. The ball flys towards Li and he kicks it in the goal. Sakura fixes her mistakes on the flute at night and Kero replays his game and carefully saves it. That night the clock turns backward. In the morning, Kero's game has been erased again. Sakura's class has the flute test again, but no one remembers having it the day before. Sakura tells Tomoyo that time is repeating itself, telling her that Li will kick the ball into the goal. Li comes along and tells her that he also noticed that the day repeated, then kick the ball into the goal again. Li tells Sakura that the card is in the clock tower. Sakura dresses in a fairy costume to catch the card. The card notices them approaching the tower and turns back time. Kero says it is the Time card, that can turn the day backwards at midnight. They try to catch the card again, but it resets the day. Li shows up the next day while they are out to catch the card. He suggests that they destroy the tower, but Tomoyo and Sakura refuse. He then suggests that they sneak inside. Sakura, Tomoyo and Kero-chan sneak up the stairs while Li goes in from the top. The card notices them when Li comes crashing in the window, but Sakura uses Shield to prevent them from being affected by Time. Time tries to escape, but is stopped by Li's lightning magic. Sakura seals the card, but it goes to Shaoran.
