Episode 9: Sakura and the Mysterious Brooch
At school Tomoyo says that Sakura looks depressed. Rika gives Sakura a flower to cheer her up. Sakura thanks Shaoran for helping her capture Thunder. She tells Shaoran about seeing a boy in green clothes in her dream. Shaoran says she can't have see his outfit before because it is a traditional Li fighting outfit. Yamazaki comes and tells Shaoran about doing the cleaning. Sakura falls asleep in class and has a dream about Tokyo Tower again. Tomoyo invites Sakura to go to a shop with her and Rika. They see some cute brooches. They each buy a broach. At home Sakura tells Kero-chan not to come downstairs because she has a guest. Rika, Tomoyo, and Sakura have snacks and then put on their brooches. Rika's brooch becomes a sword. She begins to attack Sakura, who escapes outside. Kero-chan says it's the work of the Sword card, which makes the user a fencing expert. Shaoran arrives and tries to attack Rika, but is stopped by Sakura. Sakura uses Illusion to show Rika the person she likes most, who Rika calls sensei. Sakura knocks the Sword from Rika's hand and seals it. Yukito arrives to return a CD that he borrowed from Touya. He asks Shaoran if he's alright and sees a mark where Kero-chan had bit him earlier. Shaoran runs off. In the library at school Sakura gives Rika the brooch she bought because she'd taken Rika's. Rika accepts the brooch without questioning. Sakura leaves the library as Terada-sensei enters. At Sakura's request Touya asks Yukito to meet Sakura somewhere. While waiting for Sakura Yukito tells Touya about seeing Shaoran with Sakura at Touya's house. Touya says that he's the only one allowed to pick on Sakura. Yukito teases him about having a sister complex. Shaoran burns Touya with a magical ward. Sakura rushes up the them and gives Yukito a present for helping carry Rika inside. She gives Yukito some chocolate. Yukito says that he loves sweets and Shaoran gives hime some chocolate before rushing off. Tomoyo videotaped the event. She says that Sakura has a rival in love and in catching Clow cards.
