Episode 2: The Target is the Family Bond
Maron and Miyako are running late to school. Maron decides to take a shortcut. She spots a girl who's lost control of her bike. She saves the girl, but the girl's father arrives and slaps the girl. At school, Miyako and Maron are late. They see Chiaki, who is a new student in their class. He sits next to Maron and shares her books while Miyako glares at them. He asks her to go out with him. Later, Maron is practicing gymnastics. Miyako is being mean to her because Chiaki flirted with her. Chiaki is watching from the door. Maron sees him and throws the ball, but Chiaki is replaced by the girl from earlier. Maron call the ball back and goes to talk to the girl. The girl wants to become a gymnast. The girl says that her dad wasn't always mean. Maron has a flashback of another fiht. The girl leaves and Chiaki comments on Maron's figure. Miyako gets jealous. Chiaki walks home with thme. Chiaki and Miyako go ahead in the elevator while Maron checks her mail. She goes onto her balcony and finds Chiaki on the balcony next to hers. He compliments her figure agin. Fin comes home and tells Maron about a demon that is tearing apart a family. Maron leaves at the same time as Miyako. Miyako plans to catch Jeanne. Chiaki hears Maron and Fin discuss the notice card. Maron says she doesn't want the girl to have the same sad experiences that she did. She changes into Jeanne. She gets past the guards easily and enters the house. She seals the demon in the picture and escapes. A mysterious figure keeps away her from a trap. Maron sees the girl happy with her family.
